COMTRADE is a Greek consulting services company based in Athens - Greece and from end of September 2018 set up its offices in Mumbai.
Already has sign a joint venture with an Indian agency company in Mumbai and promote to Greek shipping companies services such as, Marine services, Recruitment, underwater services, and freight forwarding. The company also promote insurance and reinsurance with one of the biggest insurance group in India.
We are attending to various vessels calling all Indian ports such as Mumbai, Kandla, Mundra, Dahej, Hazira, Okha, Bedi, Navlakhi,Vadinar, Sikka, Porbandar, New Mangalore, Pipavav, Jaigarh, Tuticorin, Kakinada, Krishnapatnam, Vizag, Gangavaram, Karaikal, Chennai, Ennore, Haldia, Paradip, Dhamra etc.
We are also handling vessels at Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Our joint venture office is at Mumbai and we cover all the important ports on the vast Indian coastline. Our Indian partner the last 30 years have handled various vessels for discharging / loading different types of cargoes such as,

SERVICES
SUPPLIES:
We can arrange stores / provisions / second-hand spares supply as per owners / master’s requirements.
CLEARING AND ON BOARD DELIVERY OF SPARE PARTS AND FUEL.:
Ship’s spares arriving from owners can be cleared at Airport and then escorted to the vessel. Bunkers (Bonded / Duty paid) can be arranged at short notice.
DISCHARGING AND LOADING ALL TYPES OF CARGOES:
During the last thirty four years we have handled various bulk / general and tanker vessels calling at all Indian ports such as agri products, fertilizers, iron ore, steel scrap, sulphur, logs, coal, products carriers, black oil etc.
DOCK SAFETY RULES COMPLIANCE (CARGO GEAR CERTIFICATE)):
For vessels calling Indian ports cargo gear certificate is compulsory and same can be obtained at very competitive price.
MEDICAL :
Emergency medical services in co-ordination with PNI correspondent can be organised and taken care of the crew.
REPAIRS / WORKSHOP ARRANGEMENT:
Repair facilities to vessels can be arranged by respective class approved workshop. Procurement of second hand spares from various places in India can be arranged and for any equipment owners desire class certification it is possible to arrange same.
FREIGHT TAX EXEMPTION:
We can arrange for freight tax exemption for countries which are having double taxation avoidance agreement with Indian
SLUDGE / BILGE DISPOSAL:
Sludge / bilge water disposal through port authorised company and issuance of certificate as per Marpol can be arranged.
CHARTERING AND SHIPBROKING:
We can assist the ship owners in getting cargoes on voyage of time charter basis.
QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE CONTROL OF CARGO:
Tally and draft survey can be arranged during loading / discharging operations to check the cargo quality and quantity.
